Sunshine Meadows Alpine Shuttle, The Rockies best walking and hiking.

The Sunshine Meadows Alpine Shuttle is a bus service that carries you from the Sunshine Village Parking Lot (or from Banff) to the trailheads located at Sunshine Village. The village is located at the edge of the treeline at an elevation of 2,150 m.

The bus travels 5 km along a private access road that is not open to public vehicles. The road gains 500 m in elevation and will save you about 1/1/2 to 2 hours of uphill walking through forest.
